Dance For Kindness

Every year, to kick off World Kindness Week, Life Vest Inside organizes “Dance for Kindness,” a WorldWide FreezeMob/FlashMob. Last year’s event took place in over 120 cities, 50 countries with over 20,000 participants. This year 10% of the proceeds raised through our efforts here in Bluffton will go directly to CAPA, The Child Abuse Prevention Association, located in Beaufort. Back to School Expo

The Beaufort County School District is teaming up with government agencies and private-sector business partners to hold its annual “Back-to-School Expo” designed to give students and their families a day of fun, food, door prizes and valuable information about the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. This year’s Expo is set for Saturday, July 28, at the Beaufort-Jasper Academy of Career Excellence, located at 80 Lowcountry Drive in Ridgeland. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

KidFest 2018

Join us for a free day of fun! There will be live games, bounce houses, music, a pizza eating contest, and more! Cross Creek Shopping Center (near Belk & Sonic). It's our 21st year of keeping kids safe in recognition of both Child Abuse Prevention Month & Month of the Military Child.

Dancing With Our Stars

Beaufort Charities Oyster Roast

Featuring local Beaufort oysters, local bands, premium micro-brews, a full day children's program, live and silent auctions, and local vendors offering varied fairs, there is no other event like it in Beaufort. Tickets are $35 ($45 at the door) and available at https://www.beaufortcharities.org/oysterroast but if you buy tickets at the CAPA office or CAPA's Closet, $15 goes towards CAPA programming.
