CAPA Board members are active community leaders who help guide the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term impact. Working together as a collaborative team, the Board provides leadership, advocacy, and strategic support for the organization and the individuals and families we serve.
Board members serve three-year terms beginning each January and may be eligible for re-election following their initial term. The Board values engaged members who are committed to supporting the organization through leadership, participation, and community involvement.
Board meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month (except July, and August) at the CAPA office in Port Royal. Regular attendance is mandatory. Board meetings are open to the public.
In addition to governance responsibilities, Board members actively support CAPA’s fundraising efforts and community events throughout the year.
