Board of Directors

CAPA board members are active members of a team that provides leadership to  the organization.  Board members shall be elected to an initial two year term of office and are requested to actively serve on two Standing Committees, which include Advocacy, Governance, Communications, Finance & Audit, Fund Development/Fund Raising and Operations/Management.  At the end of the initial term, board members  may be eligible for re-election of another two year term.

Board meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the CAPA Parenting Center in Port Royal.  Regular attendance is mandatory.  Board meetings are open to the public.

CAPA organizes and conducts several fundraising events annually. Board members actively participate in these events and contribute to the overall financial efforts of the organization.
